Job summary

Empiric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic Sage ERP implementation in Valencia. You will own end-to-end delivery, coordinating stakeholders across the business, managing risk and keeping the project aligned with objectives.

The role requires fluent Spanish and professional English, plus 5+ years in project management and proven ERP implementation experience. This is a full-time on-site position with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management roles.
• Proven ERP implementations experience (Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or similar).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP processes: Finance, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, Manufacturing, Reporting.

Project Manager - SAGE ERP Implementation

Our client is a fast-growing deep-tech company and a pioneer in software-defined photonics. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead one of their most strategic initiatives: the company-wide deployment of the Sage ERP platform. The project will improve operational efficiency, process standardisation, data traceability, reporting and scalability.

You\'ll own the delivery end to end, coordinating stakeholders across the business, managing risk and keeping the project on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

• Requirements management: Consolidate business requirements, functional specifications, features and use cases from all departments, maintaining traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Stakeholder coordination: Run workshops with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, process gaps and improvement opportunities
• Planning and execution: Develop, maintain and drive the overall project plan, milestones, deliverables, timelines and dependencies
• Validation and testing: Define and execute the ERP validation and acceptance strategy, ensuring all business processes are properly tested before go-live
• Vendor and partner management: Coordinate with the ERP vendor, implementation partners and internal teams
• Scope, risk and change management: Manage scope changes, risks, compliance requirements, stakeholder communications and escalations
• UAT, training and go-live: Support user acceptance testing, training, deployment readiness reviews and the transition to operational use
• Governance: Report project status to management regularly and act as the primary point of contact for all ERP stakeholders

What you\'ll bring

Essential

• Fluent Spanish and full professional English
• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• 5+ years in project management roles
• Proven experience leading ERP implementations (Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or similar)
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business transformation projects
• Strong understanding of ERP processes, including Finance, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, Manufacturing and Reporting
• Experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements
• Experience defining validation, testing and user acceptance strategies
• Experience managing project risks, compliance requirements and stakeholder communications
• Strong grounding in project management methodologies and tools, with advanced Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills
