Siemens Mobility is looking for a project leader to manage international railway signaling initiatives from negotiation to handover. You will ensure targets, quality, and timelines while steering negotiations, claims, and procurement to optimize profitability.

The role requires coordinating with global customers and partners, mitigating risks, and guiding cross‑functional teams across Mainline and Mass Transit solutions. Travel to international sites is expected.

Formación

• 2+ years of project management experience in railway signaling.
• Technical understanding of Interlocking (I/L), ERTMS, and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) systems.
• Experience working with international stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluent in English; engineering degree.
• Willingness to travel to international partners and sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, international railway signaling projects from early negotiation to successful handover.
• Ensure financial targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.
• Drive contract negotiations, claim management, and procurement strategies to optimize project profitability and cash flow.
• Build strong, trust‑based relationships with global customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively while capturing new business opportunities.
• Empower and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver complex Mainline and Mass Transit solutions.

Qualifications

• Solid background (2+ years) managing projects within the railway signaling industry.
• Technical understanding of Interlocking (I/L), ERTMS, and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) systems.
• Proven experience navigating international environments and collaborating with diverse global stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills to solve complex challenges effectively.
• Fluency in English and a degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to travel and connect directly with our international partners and sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with different grades of automation in mass transit systems.
