Siemens Mobility is seeking an ATC On-Board Engineer to design and integrate signaling equipment for national and international railway projects. You will serve as the technical reference for ATC architecture and its integration with rolling stock, ensuring safe and reliable operation across trains.

The role requires a degree in electrical/electronics/telecoms, experience in rolling stock subsystems, and proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Solid Edge.

Formación

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proven experience integrating subsystems within the rolling stock business.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Solid Edge.
• Fluency in English and Spanish to collaborate across international teams.
• Strong willingness to travel according to project needs.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical expert for the architecture and design of ATC on-board equipment.
• Design and review critical electrical and mechanical interfaces between the ATC subsystem and the train.
• Create comprehensive project documentation, including train wiring, installation drawings, and test protocols.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, material bills, and FAT guidelines.
• Support dynamic and static on-board testing to ensure safety and performance.

Your mission in our team As an ATC On-Board Engineer, you will design and integrate cutting-edge on-board signaling equipment for national and international railway projects. You will be the technical reference ensuring safe, seamless communication between our advanced signaling systems and the rolling stock.

You’ll make a difference by

• Acting as the primary technical expert for the architecture and design of ATC on-board equipment.
• Designing and reviewing critical electrical and mechanical interfaces between the ATC subsystem and the train.
• Creating comprehensive project documentation, including train wiring, installation drawings, and test protocols.
• Preparing manufacturing documentation, material bills, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) guidelines.
• Supporting dynamic and static on-board testing to ensure the highest safety and operational standards.

Your success is grounded in

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proven experience integrating subsystems within the rolling stock business.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Solid Edge.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish to collaborate effectively across international, multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong results-oriented mindset with the flexibility to travel according to project needs.

You’ll thrive even more if you also bring

• Knowledge of ATC signaling technologies (CBTC, ERTMS, ASFA) and CENELEC standards.
• Experience with vehicle surveys for retrofits or requirements management tools like DOORS.
• Advanced data analysis skills, including Microsoft Excel and the creation of VBA macros.
