Qualifications

  • Experience managing agencies and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level or above). Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience using project management tools.
  • Fluent English (C1) – Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, production, and execution of events that strengthen IE’s visibility and align with institutional objectives.
  • Improve project management processes by refining tools and workflows.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
  • Track project performance, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervise creative and logistical processes from concept to delivery, including on-site events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to assure alignment and quality delivery.
  • Ensure consistency with IE’s brand identity and culture when proposing ideas or initiatives.

Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic and international team of professionals to transform education? IE University'sEducation & Student Experience is looking for anProject Manager – High Impact Initiatives to join its team!

In close collaboration with the Executive Director of the team, the Project Manager for High Impact Initiatives will coordinate and deliver projects in partnership with different departments across IE University. Most of these initiatives take the form of events designed to strengthen IE’s presence and engagement within the university community, the educational and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Key high-impact initiatives include coordinating IE’s graduation ceremonies, opening events for both Master and Undergraduate programs, and entrepreneurship projects such as Scale up series and IE’s participation in South Summit.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Project Manager will involve:

Project Management
  • Planning, production, and execution of events that strengthen IE’s visibility and align with institutional objectives.
Process Improvement

Resource Management
  • Manage project timelines and resources efficiently.
Performance Tracking
  • Track project performance, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Event Coordination

  • Manage key events on-site, ensuring smooth execution.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners (agencies and suppliers) to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
  • Ensure consistency with IE’s brand identity and culture when proposing ideas or initiatives.
Qualifications
