Utopia is seeking a Project Development Manager to join the on-site team in Barcelona. You will focus on construction execution, contractor management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English. You will engage in cost tracking, risk management, and planning across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of construction project coordination/management experience.
• 5 years of experience as a main PM.
• Proficient with project management software and data analysis tools (MS Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD, Power BI, Looker Studio).

We're hiring a Project Development Manager on-site in Barcelona, Spain to work with our real estate development and construction team, focusing on boutique hospitality assets.

This opportunity will focus primarily on construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery, with engagement in cost control, risk management, and project planning throughout the lifecycle.

To succeed in this opportunity, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project coordination, project management (+6 years).
• 5 years pf experience as a main pure PM
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD) as well as data analysis (Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Experience in data analysis, including cost tracking, schedule performance metrics, and trend reporting.
• English fluency is required for this opportunity.
