Job summary

UTOPIA in Barcelona is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead construction execution and manage contractor relationships. This on-site role focuses on delivering schedules, controlling costs, and mitigating risks for a luxury hospitality project in Pedralbes.

You will work with an international team to bring the project from construction through delivery. The position requires fluent English, a civil/engineering background, and a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
• 5 years as a primary PM.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD.
• Experience in data analysis, including cost tracking and schedule performance metrics.
• English fluency is required.

We're hiring a Project Development Manager on-site in Barcelona, Spain to work with our real estate development and construction team, focusing on boutique hospitality assets.

This opportunity will focus primarily on construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery, with engagement in cost control, risk management, and project planning throughout the lifecycle.

To succeed in this opportunity, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project coordination, project management (+6 years).
• 5 years pf experience as a main pure PM
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD) as well as data analysis (Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Experience in data analysis, including cost tracking, schedule performance metrics, and trend reporting.
• English fluency is required for this opportunity.
