UTOPIA is seeking a Project Development Manager on-site in Barcelona to lead our real estate development and construction team for a boutique luxury hospitality asset. You will drive construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery while engaging in cost control, risk management, and comprehensive project planning.

The ideal candidate brings a Civil Engineering or related degree, 6+ years in construction coordination, and 5+ years as a lead PM, with proficiency in MS Project,

• 6+ years of experience in construction project coordination or PM roles.
• 5+ years as a main project manager.

Job description

We're hiring a Project Development Manager on-site in Barcelona, Spain to work with our real estate development and construction team, focusing on boutique hospitality assets.

This opportunity will focus primarily on construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery, with engagement in cost control, risk management, and project planning throughout the lifecycle.

To succeed in this opportunity, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project coordination, project management (+6 years).
• 5 years pf experience as a main pure PM
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD) as well as data analysis (Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Experience in data analysis, including cost tracking, schedule performance metrics, and trend reporting.
• English fluency is required for this opportunity.
