Job summary

UTOPIA in Barcelona (Pedralbes) is hiring a Project Development Manager to lead our real estate development and luxury hospitality project from construction through delivery on-site.

You will manage contractors, track schedules, control costs, assess risks, and coordinate planning with a truly international team of architects, engineers, and PMs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires English fluency and a strong background in civil engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of construction project coordination/management experience.
• 5 years as a main PM.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD) and data analysis (Power BI, Looker Studio).
• English fluency is required.

We're hiring a Project Development Manager on-site in Barcelona, Spain to work with our real estate development and construction team, focusing on boutique hospitality assets.

This opportunity will focus primarily on construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery, with engagement in cost control, risk management, and project planning throughout the lifecycle.

To succeed in this opportunity, you should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project coordination, project management (+6 years).
• 5 years pf experience as a main pure PM
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Google Sheets, AutoCAD) as well as data analysis (Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Experience in data analysis, including cost tracking, schedule performance metrics, and trend reporting.
• English fluency is required for this opportunity.
