Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Program Manager for MES to organize and lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing programs related to assembly, labeling, and packaging of drug delivery devices. You will drive tech transfer, commercialization, capacity strategy, and supply assurance across the network.

The role requires strong project management, GMP knowledge, and ability to navigate complex manufacturing environments across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related discipline or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years in process development, project management, engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Validation, Engineering, CMC regulations.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning and communication skills.
• Plant experience is required; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams for process development, manufacturing, QA and QC across sites.
• Manage site transfers, indications, presentations and lifecycle projects on time and budget.
• Identify and drive issues to closure with functional leaders and stakeholders.
• Handle multiple projects with minimal supervision and clear priorities.
• Define contingency plans and manage risk mitigation across programs.
• Communicate project status to Operations senior management.
• Set project plans and budgets and report monthly actuals and schedules.
