Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a senior QC Technical Services leader to own end-to-end activities including investigations, CAPAs, and trend reporting.

You will guide shared services, sample management, and QC IT support, ensuring compliance and continuity of supply across regulated environments. The role requires extensive experience in gCP/GMP environments, strong leadership of technical professionals, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical/regulated industries with QC experience.
• 5+ years managing direct reports in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, data integrity, CAPA, deviation handling.
• Experience with laboratory investigations and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC Technical Services areas: investigations, trend reports and shared services.
• Provide oversight for laboratory investigations, NCRs, CAPAs and corrections.
• Own QC trending, reporting, data interpretation and risk escalation.
• Direct samples management, custody, storage, and lifecycle in QC ops.
• Support QC IT systems, data integrity, validation, and changes.
• Lead readiness for new products, method implementations, and cross-functional execution.
• Oversee capital projects and laboratory technology initiatives.
• Develop talent, manage budget, and maintain audit readiness.
