Lear Corporation in Martorell, Cataluña, is seeking a Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and cost optimization. You will lead production teams, improve processes, and coordinate with logistics, quality, and engineering across the plant.

The role requires a degree in Industrial/Technical Engineering or Business Administration, 4+ years in production leadership, automotive/JIT experience, and strong SAP/MRP and Excel skills to drive

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a production leadership role in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive industry, JIT environment preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP/MRP and advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Lead all production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement production plans meeting customer quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Manage and optimize human, material, and equipment resources to maximize plant performance.

• Drive cost reduction while maintaining productivity, quality, and stability.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support new product launches and production readiness.
• Partner with Quality to sustain continuous quality improvement.

Job Description

As a Production Manager, you oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure products are delivered to customers on time, at the required quality level, and at an optimized cost. You play a key role in leading production teams, improving processes, and coordinating closely with logistics, quality, engineering, and other plant functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement production plans that meet customer requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
• Manage and optimize human, material, and equipment resources to maximize plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with established production standards and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity, quality, and operational stability.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support new product launches and ensure production readiness.
• Partner with Quality teams to implement and sustain continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote employee development, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and healthy working conditions

Experience Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar production leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably within a Just-in-Time (JIT) production environment.
• Familiarity with production planning systems, including SAP/MRP, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, continuous improvement, quality, and health and safety knowledge
