Irizar Forge, part of the Royal Van Beest Group, is recruiting a Production Manager in Lazkao (Gipuzkoa). You will ensure the production plan is executed effectively, coordinating operations and reporting to the Operations Director.

The role involves leading Production Orders, optimizing flow, and driving on-time delivery while collaborating with Planning, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Sales. Two- to three-shift operations are typical.

• Ensure rigorous execution of the production plan and meet delivery commitments (On-Time Delivery).
• Coordinate and supervise the execution of Production Orders from release to closure.
• Establish production priorities, sequences and schedules for efficient flow.
• Identify deviations that could impact deadlines or costs.
• Collaborate with Planning, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Sales.
• Participate in the Quality Committee and analyze rejects and non-conformities.

At Irizar Forge, an industrial company specializing in the manufacture of high-quality forged components for lifting and lashing applications, located in Lazkao (Gipuzkoa) and part of the Royal Van Beest Group, we are looking to recruit a Production Manager.

What will be your mission?

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of the production plan and coordinating the different operational processes, reporting directly to the company’s Operations Director.

Job requirements

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Ensuring the rigorous execution of the production plan, minimizing deviations and ensuring that delivery commitments are met (On-Time Delivery).

Ensuring the First Time Right principle is consistently applied, minimizing errors, rejects and rework.

Supervising and coordinating the execution of Production Orders, from release through to completion and closure.

Establishing production priorities, sequences and schedules to ensure continuity and efficiency of the production flow.

Identifying and anticipating deviations that could impact delivery deadlines or planned costs.

Reviewing the closure of Production Orders and monitoring cost deviations.

Working cross-functionally with Planning, Process Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Sales.

Participating in the Quality Committee and contributing to the analysis of rejects and non-conformities.

The organizational structure is managed through Team Leaders, with an overall team of more than 30 professionals and production processes operating primarily across two- and three-shift patterns.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals with solid experience in production management within industrial environments, accustomed to managing multiple processes and teams, with proven experience leading through middle management.
