Irizar Forge, a leading industrial forging company in Gipuzkoa (Lazkao) and part of Royal Van Beest Group, seeks a Quality Controller to ensure compliance with quality requirements and coordinate inspections. The role offers the chance to lead testing activities, support operations, and drive continuous improvement in a highly technical environment.

You will prepare inspection plans, supervise NDT/DT teams, monitor processes, and manage non-conformities.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent proven experience.
• Experience in industrial environments, preferably metalworking or mechanical industry.
• Knowledge of metrology, NDT/DT testing and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and manage Inspection Plans.
• Coordinate and supervise inspection and testing teams (NDT, DT and load testing).
• Monitor manufacturing processes and identify deviations.
• Manage internal and supplier non-conformities.
• Provide technical support on the shop floor regarding quality-related issues.

• Define, design and manage inspection and testing fixtures and tooling.
• Manage the calibration of equipment and measuring instruments.
• Participate in product and process improvement projects.
