Job summary

Astek Iberia is looking for an experienced Product Owner for the Governance Portal to lead end-to-end lifecycle management in a major pharmaceutical project. You will ensure stability, security, and compliance while collaborating with Product Owners, Compliance teams, and global stakeholders.

The role requires ITIL/ITSM, Agile experience, hands-on ServiceNow, IAM, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, plus strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Application Owner, IT Service Manager, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL / ITSM: Incident, Request, Problem, Change Management.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), security, and compliance principles.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full end-to-end lifecycle of the Governance Portal application.
• Ensure operational stability, service quality, performance, and continuous optimization.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for Product Owners, Information Compliance teams, and key stakeholders.
• Review, approve, and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and support procedures.
• Plan, authorize, and oversee changes to the IT environment, ensuring business continuity and deployment safety.
• Collaborate with development teams on application releases and lifecycle management activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and PI Planning, contributing to product lifecycle and operational objectives.
• Create and maintain System Risk Assessments (SRA) aligned with compliance, legal, and security requirements.
• Manage authentication assets, access controls, and security-related processes.
• Oversee L2/L3 support operations and service delivery performance.
• Monitor SLA/KPI metrics and supervise Incident, Problem, and Service Request Management through ServiceNow.
• Maintain Knowledge Base articles, operational procedures, and documentation repositories in SharePoint and Confluence.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives across the platform.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Application Owner, IT Service Manager, or similar role.


• Strong experience managing enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle.


• Solid knowledge of ITIL / ITSM frameworks, including Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management.


• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban).


• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow.


• Good understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), security, and compliance principles.


• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Information Governance and Compliance environments.


• Previous exposure to Pharma, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.


• Understanding of software development concepts such as APIs, data models, and microservices.


• Experience with AI prompt engineering or AI use case design.


• SQL knowledge (queries, views, relational databases).


• Tableau reporting and analytics experience.


• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.


• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets knowledge.
