Job summary

Astek Iberia is seeking an experienced SAP DRC Finance Consultant to join a major international project in the pharmaceutical industry. You will design, implement, and support SAP Document & Reporting Compliance solutions, collaborating with Global Finance, Tax, IT and Integration teams.

The role covers SAP FI/CO, DRC, e-invoicing, VAT/GST compliance, and regulatory reporting across multiple countries. You will work on global rollouts, connect SAP with tax authorities via CPI, and help optimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP FI/CO.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance).
• Experience delivering or supporting global e-invoicing and statutory reporting projects.
• Strong knowledge of indirect taxation, VAT/GST processes, and tax determination within SAP.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
• Practical knowledge of AIF, eDocument Framework, and tax compliance solutions.
• Experience interacting with Finance, Tax, and Business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Manage and support the eDocument Cockpit, AIF, and statutory reporting functionalities.
• Translate international tax and legal requirements into SAP-compliant technical solutions.
• Support global electronic invoicing initiatives and CTC mandates.
• Collaborate with integration teams to connect SAP systems with tax authority platforms via CPI.
• Work with Global Tax and Finance teams to assess regulatory changes.
• Analyze and optimize financial processes across AP, AR, and GL.
• Ensure VAT/GST compliance and support statutory reporting requirements across countries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within DRC, eDocument, and AIF environments.
• Apply SAP Notes, support packages, and legal updates to maintain compliance.
• Participate in global rollout projects involving e-invoicing and digital tax reporting mandates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance process optimization.

This role combines SAP Finance, Tax Compliance, E-Invoicing, Regulatory Reporting, SAP DRC, and Global ERP Transformation, ensuring compliance with evolving international tax regulations across multiple countries. You will work closely with Global Finance, Tax, IT, and Integration teams to design, implement, and support SAP Document & Reporting Compliance solutions within a complex multinational environment.

• Configure and maintain SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions.
• Manage and support the eDocument Cockpit, Application Interface Framework (AIF), and statutory reporting functionalities.
• Translate international tax and legal requirements into SAP-compliant technical solutions.
• Support global electronic invoicing initiatives and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) mandates.
• Collaborate with integration teams to connect SAP systems with tax authority platforms through SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and APIs.
• Work closely with Global Tax and Finance teams to assess the impact of regulatory changes.
• Analyze and optimize financial processes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger areas.
• Ensure VAT/GST compliance and support statutory reporting requirements across multiple countries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues within DRC, eDocument, and AIF environments.
• Apply SAP Notes, support packages, and legal updates to maintain compliance.
• Participate in global rollout projects involving e-invoicing and digital tax reporting mandates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and compliance process optimization.

Who are you?

• 5+ years of experience working with SAP FI/CO.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance), formerly SAP eDocument and Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR).
• Experience delivering or supporting global e-invoicing and statutory reporting projects.
• Strong knowledge of indirect taxation, VAT/GST processes, and tax determination within SAP.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
• Practical knowledge of AIF, eDocument Framework, and tax compliance solutions.
• Experience interacting with Finance, Tax, and Business stakeholders.
• ABAP debugging capabilities for troubleshooting tax and interface issues.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Participation in global compliance rollouts involving:
• Italy SDI
• Poland KSeF
• France Chorus Pro
• Other international e-invoicing frameworks
• Previous experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of API-based integrations with government tax authority platforms.
• Understanding of Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) regulations.
• SAP certifications related to Finance or S/4HANA.
• Experience working in large multinational environments.
