Job summary

Astek Iberia is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js and integrations to join an international client in the pharmaceutical logistics sector.

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, building APIs and integrations with ERP, WMS, and third-party platforms while contributing to architecture decisions and engineering best practices. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing REST APIs, integrations and web services.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS, Express or similar frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MySQL.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) using Jira.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• A proactive, collaborative engineer with strong ownership and autonomy.

• Experience with event-driven architectures, RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS and observability tools.
• Understanding of inventory, traceability and warehouse management processes
