Werfen is seeking a Product Manager with cytogenetics expertise to drive strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and expand market share of cytogenetics solutions.

You will install instruments, train users, contribute to tenders, and work with Sales to install systems, troubleshoot, and forecast customer needs. You will prepare marketing materials and product data for registrations, attend events, and train the commercial network.

Formación

• University degree in Biology/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology is desirable
• Background in molecular biology and cytogenetics instruments is preferred
• Knowledge of Metasystems solutions is highly desirable

Job Summary

The Product Manager must leverage scientific and practical cytogenetics expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Unit. It is fundamental to collaborate with cross-functional teams to position solutions, expand the market share of our cytogenetics solutions, shape strategy, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.

Key Accountabilities

Install Metasystems’ instruments and perform user training Participate in the preparation of the tenders, writing the technical part. In collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department Work closely with sales team to update, install systems and execute troubleshooting. Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information. Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor’s trainings Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor’s analysis. Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method adequately Prepare the necessary marketing material: brochures, catalogs, and presentations. Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events. Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles Keep Teams database updated, as well as the Company's website Work with Logistics to manage all types of product incidents: back orders, stock dimension, purchase equipment forecast, among others Maintain a fluid relationship with the different KOLs and support the commercial network in the visits that require it Train the different members of the commercial network (Area Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Application Specialists). Where there is no Product Specialist, assume its responsibilities. Comply with the Werfen Code of Ethics

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

Education:

A University Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology is desirable Focus on Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics

Experience:

With a background in molecular biology and using cytogenetics instruments, preferably Metasystems on a recurrent basis

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

Language:

• Spanish fluent
• Portuguese desirable

Valuable assets:

Practical experience and knowledge in Cytogenetcs are mandatory Knowledge of Metasystem’s solution is highly desirable
