Pluxee is seeking a Senior Product Engineer in Madrid to own end-to-end features across backend, frontend, and AI-assisted workflows within core Cobee domains. You’ll influence payments, benefits, and leaders experiences while ensuring resilience, data integrity, and scalable architectures.

You’ll collaborate across multi-region deployments, mentor juniors, and drive automated testing and observability. Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills and 5+ years of production-grade experience are expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications, full-stack or across layers.
• Comfort working across backend and frontend, leveraging AI tooling to close gaps in unfamiliar territory.
• Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers.
• Experience with banking systems, payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen) and ledgers/reconciliation processes is a plus.
• Spanish & English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Own Features End-to-End: from domain design through backend services to the UI that ships it.
• Design for resilience at scale: build robust software for high-volume traffic with data consistency.
• Evolve distributed architectures into scalable, event-driven systems.
• Champion automated testing (unit/integration/e2e) and run load/performance simulations.
• Monitor service health in production and use observability tools to identify bottlenecks.
• Provide technical leadership via code reviews, mentoring, and documenting standards.
• Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development and improve team efficiency.

Benefits — Own the domain that defines what benefits an employee can access, under what conditions, with what limits, and in what markets. Benefitsisn’ta simple CRUD layer —it’sa rich domain with multi-tenant configurations, eligibility rules that vary by company and country, tax compliance requirements, and real-time state that must always be consistent. Covers areas like health insurance, pensions, custom benefits, food and transport, childcare, training, and renting.

Payments — Build the engine that moves money globally. A high-performance team dedicated to resilient, mission-critical systems where transactional precision, idempotency, and fault tolerance are at the heart of everything. Involves evolving distributed, event-driven architectures at high transaction volume.

Leaders — The Leaders domain coversthe employee-facing mobile and web experience within the Cobee platform, managing personal data, benefit visibility, and privacy compliance (GDPR/LPD). The domain shares boundaries with Payments (owning employee‑specific card logic and mobile flows) and Benefits (storing accumulation activation decisions while Benefits executes the end‑of‑cycle operations).

Managers App

Owns the HR admin experience, the tools client‑company administrators use to manage their organization on the platform, and the clientcompaniesentity itself, the core record that everything else in the system hangsoff of. Spans self‑onboarding flows, multi‑region and multi‑market rollout, and the operational reliability of the admin‑facing product. A domain where company‑level configuration, data integrity, and cross‑region consistency matter as much as UX.

• Own Features End-to-End : Take a feature from domain design through backend services to the UI that ships it, and the observability that tells youit’sworking.

• Design for Resilience at Scale : Build andoptimizerobust software capable of handling high‑volume traffic while ensuring data consistency and system reliability, evolving existing systems into scalable, event‑driven architectures as product requirements grow.

• EvolveDistributedArchitectures: Understandthecomplexitiesofexistingsystemsandevolvethemintoscalable,event‑drivenarchitecturestomeetfuture globalproductrequirements.

• Mission-Critical Precision: When dealing with benefits and money movements, accuracy is essential. You will champion comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, and e2e) and run advanced load and performance simulations to guarantee rock‑solid stability

• OperationalExcellence&Observability: Monitorservicehealthinproduction,usingobservabilitytoolstoproactivelyidentifyandresolvebottlenecksoranomalies.
