Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support sourcing, PO creation, and supplier onboarding for our Bahrain factory and wider operations. You will handle RFQs, compare quotations, and drive on-time delivery while coordinating with Finance and Logistics.

The role requires 2–4 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, proficiency in Excel, and fluency in English and Arabic. Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred; local supplier development is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
• 2–4 years in purchasing in manufacturing.
• ERP experience with hands-on purchasing.
• Incoterms, RFQ process, and basic negotiation knowledge.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process purchase requests; create POs in ERP.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm price, delivery, and terms.
• Track orders and coordinate inbound shipments with Logistics.
• Resolve delivery issues and payment steps with Finance.
• Maintain supplier data and prepare monthly purchasing reports.
