Grifols, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Procurement Site Leader in Parets del Vallès to drive long-term procurement strategy and oversee a skilled site team. The role focuses on aligning procurement with corporate objectives, cost control, and supplier collaboration within a regulated industry.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and fluency in Spanish and English, with proven leadership experience in manufacturing procurement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven procurement experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or similar regulated industry.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ability to resolve supply-related challenges.

• Strategic planning and execution of procurement activities aligned with long-term goals.
• Align site procurement with overall business objectives and cross-department coordination.
• Lead and mentor the site procurement team, fostering continuous improvement.

Mission

The Procurement Site Leader is the authority within the purchasing department for the site. Is responsible for developing and overseeing the long-term strategy of the site, ensuring alignment with business objectives. To develop and implement the long-term procurement strategy for the site, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Strategic planning and execution of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
• Align site procurement activities with overall business objectives, ensuring coherence and synergy with other departments.
• Lead and mentor the site procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
• Budget management and cost control, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Identify and implement procurement best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and performance.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Supplier relationship management, fostering partnerships that drive innovation and value.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with overall business strategies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Procurement within the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or a similar regulated industry.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operational and supply-related challenges within a factory environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal functions and external suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
