Grifols, S.A. is seeking a Procurement Site Leader to drive the long-term sourcing strategy for the site and oversee the purchasing department in Spain. You will align procurement with business goals and lead a team to deliver value across suppliers and internal partners.

The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing insight, and fluency in Spanish and English, with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Procurement experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or similar regulated industry.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply-related challenges in a factory environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Mission

The Procurement Site Leader is the authority within the purchasing department for the site. Is responsible for developing and overseeing the long-term strategy of the site, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

What your responsibilities will be

• Strategic planning and execution of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
• Align site procurement activities with overall business objectives, ensuring coherence and synergy with other departments.
• Lead and mentor the site procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
• Budget management and cost control, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Identify and implement procurement best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and performance.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Supplier relationship management, fostering partnerships that drive innovation and value.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with overall business strategies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Procurement within the Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or a similar regulated industry.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve operational and supply-related challenges within a factory environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal functions and external suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
