Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Procurement transformation leader to drive end-to-end Source-to-Pay across a global function. You will own SAP S/4HANA procurement processes, standardise globally, and lead the digital roadmap with a focus on value realization and governance.

You will deliver data-driven insights, develop policies, and partner with Finance to secure measurable savings while improving compliance and user experience across regions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA procurement experience as a business process owner or senior process lead.
• Senior experience leading Procurement Transformation in a global organisation.
• Proven governance, controls and compliance in procurement.
• Experience delivering eProcurement, CLM, supplier management and analytics.
• Strong data, reporting and KPI capability.
• Experience partnering with Finance on savings governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change across regions without direct authority.

Summary of the role

Procurement is moving from building core processes to running a scalable, digitally enabled, data‑driven global function. We're looking for an experienced Procurement transformation leader to drive that change.

Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you'll own the end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay process and its governance. You'll act as Procurement's business process owner for SAP S/4HANA, lead our digital procurement roadmap, and make sure Procurement shows measurable, Finance‑validated value across the business.

What you'll do

• Governance & controls: Develop and own Procurement policies, process standards and controls globally, including PO compliance and audit readiness.
• SAP S/4HANA: Act as Procurement business process owner. Drive process standardisation, adoption and continuous improvement, and work with Technology and Finance on enhancements, releases and testing.
• Digital transformation: Own the Procurement digital roadmap, including eProcurement/eSourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), supplier onboarding and workflow automation.
• Data & analytics: Set Procurement data standards. Own executive reporting and dashboards covering spend, savings, suppliers, contracts and compliance. Deliver forward‑looking insight.
• Value realisation: Own savings governance with Finance, plus category and supplier performance scorecards.
• Process excellence: Build scalable global processes that improve compliance, efficiency and user experience.

What you'll bring

• Essential: hands‑on SAP S/4HANA Procurement experience as a business process owner or senior process lead, covering process design, deployment, optimisation and adoption
• A substantial background in Procurement, including senior experience leading Procurement Transformation, Excellence or Digital Procurement in a global organisation
• A proven record of owning Procurement governance, controls and compliance
• Experience delivering Procurement technology such as eProcurement, CLM, supplier management and analytics
• Strong data, reporting and KPI capability
• Experience partnering with Finance on savings governance
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change across regions without direct authority

Nice to have

• SAP certification, or SAP Central Procurement experience
• Lean Six Sigma or another continuous improvement qualification
• Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience in energy, renewables or infrastructure
• CIPS or an equivalent qualification
