KONE in Madrid is seeking a motivated Procurement Intern for a 12-month internship in our Purchasing Department. The role offers onboarding and training, with exposure to supplier management, sourcing processes, and day-to-day commercial operations.

You will support supplier qualification, RFQ/RFP activity, data maintenance, and cross-functional projects, while developing analytical, organizational and communication skills under experienced mentors.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field (business, economics, engineering or supply chain).
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support supplier qualification and onboarding processes, including vendor assessments.
• Assist in collecting, reviewing and maintaining supplier documentation and compliance records.
• Support RFQ and RFP preparation and management.
• Analyze supplier quotations and commercial offers.
• Maintain procurement databases and sourcing documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather purchasing requirements.
• Monitor progress of sourcing initiatives and follow up with suppliers.
• Prepare reports, presentations and procurement analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
• Provide operational support across procurement categories as needed.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Procurement Intern to join our Purchasing Department for a 12-month internship experience. Following an initial onboarding and training period, the intern will support a broad range of activities across the department's main procurement categories, gaining exposure to supplier management, sourcing processes, and commercial operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of procurement practices while contributing to day-to-day business activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support supplier qualification and onboarding processes, including both one-time and recurring vendor assessments.
• Assist in collecting, reviewing, and maintaining supplier documentation and compliance records.
• Support the preparation and management of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Collect, compare, and analyze supplier quotations and commercial offers.
• Maintain procurement databases, supplier records, and sourcing documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather purchasing requirements and support procurement activities.
• Monitor the progress of sourcing initiatives and follow up with suppliers when required.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and procurement-related analyses.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
• Provide operational support across the different procurement categories according to business priorities.

Desired Profile

• Degree student in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a collaborative environment.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
