Hexcel Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer ECP for Parla, Spain. You will define and control industrial processes across production, applying Lean/Six Sigma to improve quality, robustness, sustainability and cost.

You will support daily production issues, audits, and implement continuous improvement across lines, working with blue-collar staff to ensure procedures and controls are functioning effectively. Relocation and travel are required.

Formación

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Less than 3 years of work experience (excluding intern & co-op).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to relocate, travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience with continuous improvement, LEAN and/or Six Sigma; Green Belt a plus.
• Experience with ERPs, MES, SharePoint; Power BI/Power Apps a plus.

Process Engineer ECP – Parla, Spain

Responsibilities

• Define and control industrial processes across the production of all intermediates and finished goods through recipes, trials, procedures, records, documentation, controls, etc.
• Apply and deploy continuous improvement philosophy across the production processes to improve quality, enhance robustness, increase sustainability and reduce cost.
• Support daily problems found across the production lines, working closely with blue‑collar staff to ensure procedures are followed, processes are improved and controls are functioning.
• Support internal and external audits; help develop, support and/or lead action plans to close gaps.
• Ensure that all quality policies and procedures are followed across the manufacturing processes, deploying improvements, action plans and closing gaps to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Preferred engineering degrees: Chemical or Mechanical.
• Candidates must have less than 3 years of work experience (excluding intern & co‑op experience). Experience in industrial environments is an added value.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Must be willing and able to relocate, travel domestically and internationally.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement, LEAN and/or Six Sigma tools is an added value; Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Experience with information management tools such as ERPs, MES, SharePoint is an added value; knowledge of programming macros in Excel and advanced skills on Power BI, Power Apps or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
