Hexcel in Parla, Spain, is seeking a Laboratory Engineer to manage laboratory operations and ensure testing compliance for advanced composite materials. Responsibilities include coordinating training for lab technicians and maintaining testing protocols.

Formación

• Experience as a group coordinator in a laboratory setting.
• Degree in Chemistry or Engineering required.
• Experience in composite testing is essential.
• Must be eligible to work in Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the phys‑chem and mechanical lab to achieve certification targets.
• Maintain and upgrade GLIMS as needed.
• Support plant and customer testing issues.
• Coordinate training of lab technicians.
• Review testing specifications and release requirements.

Conocimientos

Experience as group coordinator

Laboratory Engineer (Replacement)

Responsibilities

• Manage the phys‑chem and mechanical lab to achieve certification targets
• Maintain and upgrade GLIMS as needed
• Support the plant, customers or other Hexcel sites in all issues related to results or lab testing
• Coordinate continuous training of lab technicians and new lab recruitments
• Review customer and internal specifications related to testing, and release test requirements

Qualifications

• Experience as group coordinator
• Degree in Chemistry or Engineering
• Experience in composite testing
• English speaking
• Advanced level in data software (Microsoft, Minitab)
• Eligible to work in the country where the position is based
