UTOPIA in Barcelona seeks a Private Head Chef for a private family residence above Barcelona. You will lead the kitchen for two principals and four children, with a strict low-sugar, high-protein regime and daily from-scratch cooking.

You will manage a Sous Chef and kitchen porter, source ingredients, maintain HACCP records, and coordinate with the General Manager. Travel may be required; role is freelance/on-call with potential to convert to permanent.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in a private household, five-star hotel, or Michelin-starred restaurant environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Deep expertise across multiple international cuisines and nutrition awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead daily meals, private dinners, and bespoke events for the household.
• Own end-to-end kitchen operations including menu planning, sourcing, stock control, and hygiene.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff and manage supplier relationships.
• Adapt to the household schedule and travel requirements.
