UTOPIA in Barcelona is seeking a Private Head Chef to lead the kitchen for a two-principal, four-child household. This freelance/on-call role is based at a private residence; daily precision cooking, strict dietary regime, and scratch-made meals using high-quality ingredients.

You will manage a Sous Chef and a kitchen porter, oversee supplier relationships and HACCP documentation, and coordinate with the General Manager.

Formación

• 5+ years in a private household, five-star hotel, or Michelin-starred restaurant in senior culinary leadership.
• Experience cooking daily for strict medical or elimination diets.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Deep knowledge of multiple international cuisines and nutrition.
• Discretion, professionalism and trustworthiness.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute daily meals and private dinners for the household.
• Lead end-to-end kitchen operations: sourcing, menus, stock, and hygiene.
• Mentor kitchen staff and manage supplier relationships.
• Maintain HACCP documentation and adapt to household schedule.
• Travel occasionally and coordinate with General Manager for service.
