Lace Lithography seeks a Principal / Architect / Senior Optical Engineer to define and design high-end lithography systems in a global setting. You will own optical architecture, interfaces, budgets and verification across cross-functional teams, from concept to delivery, in Barcelona or Bergen with regular travel.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in precision optical systems, strong requirements/System Engineering expertise and a track record of leading complex projects in high-tech environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in developing complex, precision optical systems from concept to manufacturing.
• Expertise in requirements and system engineering for high-end lithography.
• Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own optical and optomechanical subsystems lifecycle from requirements to production release.
• Translate system objectives into optical specs, interfaces and budgets.
• Lead development of robust optomechanical solutions and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with physics, mechanical, vacuum, controls, electronics and software teams.
• Mentor and drive long-term optical technology roadmaps.
