Sezzle seeks a best-in-class Principal Software Engineer to own the evolution of authentication and authorization. Lead the API gateway and identity services, architect scalable auth platforms, and drive secure-by-default patterns across an edge-based microservices stack.

You will collaborate with Product, Security, and Support to deliver safe,Incremental auth capabilities, mentor teammates, and define migration strategies while focusing on performance and reliability at the edge.

Formación

• Experience building auth systems (OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, JWT) and token lifecycles.
• Proven track record deploying API gateways or auth proxies at scale.
• Strong background in distributed, low-latency edge services.

Responsabilidades

• Own technical vision and roadmap for Sezzle's auth platform and gateway components.
• Design, implement, and migrate authentication/authorization services with zero-downtime.
