Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in Madrid seeks a Pricing Developer to support the Madrid Hub and learn the rating engine, UI enhancements and data-driven pricing insights. You will build rating engine structures using Python, explore libraries, collaborate with Pricing and IT architects, and develop Power BI MI dashboards to deliver KPIs and segmentation insights.

A minimum of 2 years in Python/data roles, strong Python, SQL, and Power BI experience, plus familiarity with large datasets

Formación

• At least 2 years of experience in a Python development or data-focused role.
• Strong, advanced knowledge of Python development.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience working with large data sets and data analysis tools.
• Experience with HX Renew is desirable.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical and transformation work into practical business terms.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical changes, transformation progress and data-driven insights to a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Experience working within a Pricing or Actuarial function is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Help to build the rating engine structures in the new platform, using Python coding as the core tool for replicating the rating calculations as used in the existing Excel based pricing tools.
• Investigate the available libraries and modules to find the most efficient way to structure, develop and execute the code.
• Collaborate closely with the Pricing team to ensure full understanding of the rating structure requirements.
• Review and test coding developed by other core team members.
• Work closely with the IT architects to ensure that any data connections developed as part of the model build comply with IT standards.
• Support the Pricing team with any Deep dive analyses to enhance their data-driven insights.
• Develop Power BI MI dashboards and reports to provide KPIs, segmentation analysis and data insights to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies that could impact the insurance industry.
