Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in Madrid seeks a Data Scientist – Pricing to advance a data-driven pricing function. You will develop models, build dashboards, and automate insights for stakeholders.

You will collect and analyse pricing data, collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams, and ensure secure, scalable data structures. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish a plus.

Formación

• At least 3 years of data science or data analytics experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Power BI; Databricks or similar big data platforms is a plus.
• Experience building predictive/analytical models to support decision-making.
• Solid understanding of pricing/actuarial data and processes.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into insights for stakeholders.
• Experience with HX Renew or similar pricing platforms is a plus.
• Fluency in English; other European languages are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports for pricing insights.
• Collect, organise and analyse pricing and underwriting data to derive actionable insights.
• Build predictive and analytical models to improve forecasting and decision-making.
• Design, build and maintain databases to support scalable pricing tools.
• Support pricing engine structures and databases in HX Renew and related platforms.
• Collaborate with Pricing team to drive data-driven improvements.
• Work with IT to ensure secure data storage and proper DB design.
