Job summary

Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) seeks an early-stage predoctoral researcher to develop their career through structured training within the Pharmacokinetic Nanoparticles Research Group in Barcelona. You will undertake doctoral-level research under supervision, developing scientific and transferable skills while contributing to high-quality publications and conferences.

You will engage in training activities, outreach, and collaborative research, building capabilities for the next stage

Qualifications

• Bachelor and Master with 300 ECTS required; access to doctoral studies.
• Must be admitted to a doctoral programme at start of appointment.
• English level B2 or equivalent per CEFR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete a doctoral research project and thesis.
• Conduct high-quality research under supervision; data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with senior researchers on experiments and publications.
• Present findings at team meetings and conferences.
• Participate in doctoral training and professional development activities.
• Follow up the experimental program of the funding project.
• Prepare and follow-up specimens and execute research protocols.
• Collaborate with team members; analyze and interpret data.
