Job summary

Fundació Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron- Institut de recerca seeks an early-stage predoctoral researcher to develop their career within the Pharmacokinetic Nanoparticles Research Group. You will undertake doctoral-level research under mentorship, while building scientific, technical and transferable skills.

You will contribute to high-quality research aligned with team objectives, work toward your doctoral thesis, and disseminate results through publications, conferences and seminars.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a chemistry/biochemistry research lab
• Knowledge of main characterization techniques such as UV-VIS, Dynamic Light Scattering and Zeta Potential
• Experience in nanoparticles formulation and cell culture techniques
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals are advantageous
• Fluent in Catalan and/or Spanish

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete a doctoral research project and thesis in accordance with the training plan
• Conduct high-quality research under supervision of senior researchers, including data collection and literature review
• Collaborate with senior researchers in designing experiments and contributing to publications
• Present research findings within the team and at conferences or seminars
• Participate in doctoral training and professional development activities
• Follow up the experimental program of the funding project
• Prepare and follow up of specimens in the study
• Ensure rigorous execution of research protocols
• Support admission to doctoral programme and start doctoral studies at appointment
