Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to advance LAMA2-related muscular dystrophy therapy using preclinical strategies, including cell-based approaches and mouse models. The role offers mentored training and scientific independence within a leading translational research center.

The position focuses on rigorous data analysis, protocol development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to push therapeutic concepts toward preclinical validation.

Formación

• PhD completed in a biomedical field with postdoc potential.
• Official university qualification per EHEA (300+ECTS) to access doctoral studies.
• Fluency in English required.
• Training in cell culture and/or preclinical animal models expected.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct high-quality research aligned with project objectives and literature reviews.
• Collaborate with senior researchers to design experiments and publish findings.
• Present results in team meetings and scientific conferences.
• Supervise and mentor Bachelor’s/Master’s students when applicable.
• Engage in translational research and IP considerations with tech transfer.
