TOMRA Food, a global provider of sensor-based sorting and post-harvest solutions, is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to translate customer needs into technically sound system concepts. You will work across Sales, Service, Product, and Engineering teams to guide discovery through to handover.

Requirements include a engineering degree, Agri-Tech/food processing experience, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Automation, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience in Agri-Tech, food processing, automation, material handling, or equipment-related industries.
Professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Ability to analyze operational data and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Experience with system design, process evaluation, and equipment integration.
Knowledge of CAD and design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
A structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Travel up to 30% within the EMEA region.
Valid work permit or visa status where required.

Responsabilidades

Lead technical discovery with customers to understand process flows, production constraints, performance goals, and future capacity requirements.
Map current-state processes and identify opportunities to improve throughput, product quality, yield, resource efficiency, and equipment utilization.
Develop solution concepts, equipment configurations, process layouts, technical specifications, and performance assumptions.
Design and evaluate integrated processing systems, including interfaces with third-party equipment and surrounding infrastructure.
Use data to compare options and recommend cost-effective solutions balancing performance and reliability.
Plan and conduct product demonstrations, tests, field trials, and validation activities.
Document test methods, results, risks, and recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders.
Facilitate technical reviews with Sales, Service, Product, Engineering, and delivery teams.
