Job summary

NES Fircroft in Madrid seeks an Infrastructure & Utilities Technical Manager – Data Centres to lead electrical grid connections, substations, and external utility interfaces for data centre developments in Spain. You will coordinate with grid operators, utility providers, and internal project teams to ensure energization on schedule and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
Typically 12–15+ years of experience in power infrastructure, utilities or major infrastructure projects.
Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Lead technical development and coordination of electrical grid connections for data centre projects.
Review grid connection concepts, HV transmission/distribution routes and technical requirements.
Coordinate interfaces between utility/grid substations and data centre electrical systems.
Coordinate external utilities including telecommunications/fiber, water and wastewater.
Manage technical information, submissions and approvals with utilities and authorities.
Monitor progress against programme and ensure energization dates are met.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors and procurement for power infrastructure.
