Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering grid connection or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of transmission, distribution and substation infrastructure.
• Experience working with utilities, TSOs/DSOs or grid operators.
• Fluent English; Spanish language desirable.

About the Opportunity

An international developer of hyperscale and AI-ready data centre infrastructure is seeking a Grid Connections & Utilities Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of large-scale data centre campuses across Spain.

This is a client-side position responsible for securing and managing the power and utility infrastructure required to support hyperscale developments. Working closely with technical, development and delivery teams, you will play a key role in power strategy, utility engagement, grid connection planning and infrastructure delivery across multiple projects.

This opportunity is ideally suited to professionals with experience in grid connections, substations, transmission infrastructure, utility-scale energy projects or large industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead grid connection and utility infrastructure strategies for hyperscale data centre developments.
• Manage relationships with utility providers, transmission operators and regulatory stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering grid connection, utility infrastructure or power system projects.
• Strong understanding of transmission, distribution and substation infrastructure.
• Experience working with utilities, TSOs, DSOs or grid operators.
• Background in data centres, renewable energy, utilities, power generation or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical coordination skills.
• Fluent English required. Spanish highly desirable.
