Hitachi Energy in Madrid is seeking a Project Planning and Controls Specialist to manage planning and control activities across regional power projects. You will own scheduling and coordination with project managers and senior planners, ensuring on-time delivery and cost control.

The role requires around 4 years of relevant experience, strong skills in Earned Value Analysis, Primavera P6, and advanced Excel.

Formación

• Around 4 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling and project controls.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Analysis and S-curves.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 is highly valued.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Structured, organized, and able to manage priorities independently.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain project schedules for delivery projects.
• Prepare, update, and analyze current and forecasted schedules.
• Monitor project costs, resources, and risks; support timely decisions.
• Identify delays and support mitigation actions with project teams.
• Prepare reports and analyses such as S-curves, OTD, earned value, and critical path.
• Collaborate with project leadership to apply and improve project controls practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
