Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. in Madrid is seeking a Project Planning and Controls Specialist to lead planning, scheduling, and cost control for regional power projects.

The role offers exposure to a technically strong environment and cross-functional collaboration within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions arena. The candidate will own schedules, monitor costs and risks, and work with project managers and senior planners to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery in the ES Regional Office in

Formación

• 4 years of Planning & Scheduling and Project Controls experience.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis and S-curves; Primavera P6 valued.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain project schedules for delivery projects.
• Prepare, update, and analyze current and forecasted schedules.
• Monitor project costs, resources, and risks, supporting timely decision-making.
• Identify potential delays and support mitigation actions with project teams.
• Prepare reports such as S-curves, OTD, earned value, and critical path.
• Proactively highlight deviations and risks to project managers.
• Collaborate with project leadership to apply and improve Project Controls practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
