The Computational Biology Group at CIC bioGUNE seeks a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to work on developing computational approaches for designing neuronal cell conversion protocols.

The project aims to create a computational platform to identify hierarchical combinations of cell fate conversion factors to generate specialized neuronal subtypes for cell transplantation therapies in animal models of neurodegenerative diseases.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, biology, computer science, physics or a related discipline.
• Strong computational skills in at least one programming language (e.g. R or Python).
• A strong publication record in related fields.
• Excellent communication and working knowledge in English.
