The AmyloidTech research group at the University of Barcelona is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to conduct research on molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases and the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications
- Hold a BSc in Pharmacy with a very good academic record.
- Proven research experience in the synthesis and in vitro biological evaluation of neuroprotective compounds.
- Experience in 2D and 3D cell cultures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out research on molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases and develop innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
- Perform interdisciplinary work at the interface of neuroscience, bioengineering and translational medicine.
- Contribute to experimental design, data analysis and scientific dissemination.
- Participate in collaborative research aimed at improving early diagnosis, disease modelling and treatment.
