Job summary

The Human Neuroscience Lab of CIMCYC in Granada, Spain, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience. Start date is flexible, ideally January 2027.

The role focuses on prediction and task relevance in neural information coding, funded for 1 year with possible extension. Applicants should have a PhD, experience with behavioral task design and neuroimaging (fMRI or M/EEG), and strong programming skills for multivariate analyses.

Qualifications

• Hold a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience or related fields.
• Have proven experience with behavioral task design, fMRI and/or M/EEG neuroimaging.
• Have strong programming skills and familiarity with multivariate analyses.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct studies to characterize the role of prediction and task relevance in neural information coding.
• Collaborate in international research projects and work with neuroimaging data (3T Prisma, EEG, TMS).
• Develop and apply multivariate decoding and related analyses to advance understanding of cognitive neuroscience questions.
