Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in the Sustainable Artificial Intelligence (SAI) unit. The role focuses on data-driven approaches for anomaly and novelty detection in cyber-physical systems, using physics-guided learning and operator-theoretic methods to improve robustness.

You will publish in top journals and organize project sessions.

Formación

• PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Signal Processing, or related field (at the time of signing the contract)
• Background in machine learning and scientific computing.
• Strong programming experience in Python and/or Julia
• Experience with physics-informed neural networks or ordinary neural differential equations (ODEs)
• Experience withoperator learning (e.g., Koopman operator, kernel methods)
• Experience with differential equations, particularly stiff ODEs
• Strong publication record and communication skills
• Familiarity with Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) frameworks
• Demonstrated contributions to open-source libraries on the topic

Responsabilidades

• Carry out fundamental research in anomaly and novelty detection for cyber-physical systems.
• Disseminate results through publications in high-quality journals and conferences.
• Organize sessions and workshops on research topics of the project.
• Collaborate with the SAI unit and contribute to internal research activities.
