The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher focused on semantic and citation networks (R2). The role blends graph theory, AI, and large-scale data to advance scholarly communication and knowledge graphs.

You will design experiments, implement tools in R and Python, analyze graph structures, and publish results. The position is based in Barcelona and offers a strong research environment with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Complex Systems, Computer Science, Information Science or related field.
• Experience publishing in science and technology studies, with graph/network methods.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for data curation and analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement semantic graphs for academic works using semantic similarities and co-citation patterns.
• Develop tools to explore semantic and co-citation graphs and their relations.
• Publish findings on graphs in Science & Technology Studies and related fields.
