Eurecat's Applied Artificial Intelligence Unit in Catalonia seeks a Data Scientist and ML Engineer to drive AI-driven solutions for industrial processes. You will work on machine learning, GNNs, PINNs, and GenAI across single devices to complex systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in Barcelona or Cerdanyola.

You will contribute to research, develop ready-to-market AI applications, and participate in knowledge exchange, publications, and professional development within Eurecat

Formación

• MSc or equivalent experience in ML, AI, CV, or related field.
• Excellent Python coding skills for ready-to-market AI applications.
• At least 2 years of hands-on ML/DL experience applying AI techniques.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deploy ML/AI solutions for process monitoring and optimization.

Requirements:

Academic Background

• Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Chemistry, Agronomy, or similar.
• Desirable studies or specialization (Master’s, Postgraduate, or PhD) in Data Science, AI, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or similar.

Required Skills And Experience

• A passion for DataScience and ML, backed by an MSc or equivalent experience in ML, AI, Computer Vision, or a related field.
• Excellent coding skills. Your code will be used in ready-to-market AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, with a track record of applying AI techniques.
• A collaborative and growing mindset, coupled with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
• Open minded: Eager to learn new domains: how the industrial processes work and its fine details.
• Dynamic communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex ideas and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
