Apex Group Ltd in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Junior Operational Due Diligence Officer to support oversight reviews on delegated Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors. This role focuses on documentation, KPIs, SOC reports, and maintaining the due diligence oversight dashboard.

You will engage across teams to prepare assessments, support on-site and remote sessions, and contribute to reports for governance and boards. Hybrid working model and strong development opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Academic degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong commercial awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Support due diligence oversight reviews on delegated Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors.
• Review questionnaires, standard packs, and documentation such as financial statements and licenses.
• Monitor deadlines for due diligence questionnaires and update dashboards.
• Prepare assessment reports on service providers and escalate findings to Head of PMO.
• Assist with updates to internal controls and templates, including the due diligence dashboard.
• Coordinate on-site and remote sessions with delegated PMs to address findings.
• Prepare fund boards reports within agreed timelines.
• Liaise with internal teams to improve the control framework.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Junior Operational Due Diligence Officer (f/m/d)

We are currently looking for a Portfolio Management Oversight Officer to support our Luxembourg department in charge of the due diligences focused on delegated Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisors.

Job Specification:

• Support due diligence (initial / ongoing) oversight reviews on the delegated Portfolio
• Managers and Investment Advisors, including questionnaire and standard pack
• documentation review, financial statements, structure charts, organizational charts, licenses, KPIs and SOC reports
• Monitor the deadlines set for completing the due diligence questionnaires
• Prepare the assessment report on service providers and escalate key findings to the Head of PMO
• Assist with the update of the key internal control and templates including the due diligence oversight dashboard
• Prepare the on-site and/or remote sessions on the delegated Portfolio Managers to address and remediate potential due diligence oversight findings and/or on-going subjects of interest
• Prepare fund´s board reports within the agreed timelines
• Liaise with internal teams to constantly improve the quality of control framework
• Support with ad hoc projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Academic degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Strong commercial awareness

Skills & competencies:

• Strong analytical skills
• High attention to detail, critical thinking and common sense
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (esp. Excel)
• Working autonomously
• Keen to further develop your practical knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to Financial services, both within Luxembourg and other jurisdictions
