Apex Group is seeking an Oversight Governance Officer in Valencia to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery within the Central Oversight team. You will monitor SLAs, manage deliverables and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, with exposure to Luxembourg and Irish financial markets.

The role involves reviewing KPIs, supporting due diligence, and coordinating with providers to maintain high-quality, timely client delivery in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Academic background in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Legal or comparable studies.
• Professional experience in fund accounting, depositary, or audit.
• Knowledge of European Regulator investment products (Nice to have).
• Excellent communication, analytical and client-service orientation.
• Highly motivated with a drive for new challenges.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French/German an asset.

• Review fund accounting data and KPIs.
• Support due diligence activities and ongoing provider assessments.
• Identify potential risks and elevate issues as needed.
• Assist in preparing reports (management information, financial statements).
• Track issues and follow up with providers until resolved.
• Participate in regular calls and occasional on-site reviews with clients/providers.
• Contribute to improving processes, controls, and oversight frameworks.
• Support the team in delivering high-quality, timely client service.

Role Summary

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of services within the Central Oversight team, with a strong focus on meeting client deadlines accurately and on time. You will be responsible for monitoring SLAs, managing deliverables, and ensuring Management Companies meet their regulatory obligations. The position offers hands‑on exposure to a broad range of investment fund structures across multiple jurisdictions, particularly within the Luxembourg and Irish financial services markets.

Job Specification

Skills Required

• Academic background including in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Legal or comparable studies
• Professional experience in the area of (fund) accounting, depositary or audit
• Knowledge of European Regulator Investment Products, UCITS, AIFMD and Fund regulatory requirements (Nice to have)
• Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills with high client and service orientation
• Highly motivated, driven and focused with a desire for new challenges
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages in particular French and/or German are considered an asset.
