Apex Group in Valencia is seeking a Senior Due Diligence Associate to safeguard client assets by overseeing fund activity and ensuring regulatory compliance, including AIFMD. You will assess service providers such as Fund Managers, Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Sub-Custodians, and support governance activities with Depositary and Risk teams.
You will deliver high-quality oversight, maintain client service standards, and contribute to the integrity of Apex Group's investment operations.

As a Senior Due Diligence Associate, you will play a key role in safeguarding client assets by overseeing fund activity and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including AIFMD. You will conduct due diligence reviews on key service providers such as Fund Managers, Administrators, Prime Brokers, and Sub-Custodians, assess risks, and support ongoing monitoring and governance activities. Working closely with Depositary, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams, you will help deliver high-quality oversight, maintain strong client service standards, and contribute to the integrity of Apex Group's investment operations.
Perform preliminary and periodic risk assessments of service providers.
Maintain records of ongoing monitoring activities and ensure supporting evidence is retained.
Escalate material findings or emerging risks to the Due Diligence Manager.
