Omya Group's Omya Performance Polymer Distribution in Barcelona seeks an Account Manager to oversee and grow the customer base across Catalonia's polymer processing sector. You will manage existing relationships and develop new opportunities in standard polymers, engineering plastics and high performance materials with strong technical know-how for long-term value.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Polymer Science or related fields.
• 3+ years in distribution sales as account manager, polymers preferred.
• Fluent in English; Catalan/Spanish proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (60%+).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in polymers processing.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting clients.
• Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company goals.
• Promote engineering plastics with technical and commercial support.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular updates on visits, sales, forecasts and pipeline.
