Astrantia Talent is recruiting on behalf of Polymer Trading & Distribution for an experienced Sales Manager to drive polymer trading activities in Madrid and across Spain. You will lead commercial decisions, negotiate margins, and develop new trading opportunities with customers and suppliers.

This role requires a deep understanding of commodity polymers, market dynamics, and strong independent ownership of your portfolio.

Formación

Minimum 5 years' commercial experience within polymers, plastics or petrochemical raw materials.
Strong experience in commodity polymer sales, distribution and/or trading.
Good grasp of major polymer markets (PE, PP, PVC, PS, PET).
Experience buying/selling polymer raw materials in a commercial setting.
Knowledge of pricing, margins, supply/demand, and market fluctuations.
Confidence negotiating with customers and suppliers.
Established understanding of the Spanish plastics and polymer market.
Ability to identify and convert spot and longer-term trading opportunities.

Responsabilidades

Take commercial ownership of a portfolio of commodity polymers across Madrid and Spain.
Sell commodity polymers and grow volumes and profitability.
Identify new customers, suppliers and trading opportunities.
Negotiate purchase and sales prices, volumes and Incoterms.
Manage spot business and recurring contractual volumes.
Coordinate orders with logistics and internal teams.
